Impact is a quarterly newsletter published by the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station (AAES) to inform state and federal legislators, public policy makers and the general public about AAES research projects and how they affect all Alabamians. The AAES is based at Auburn University.

State's seafood sectors struggle post–oil spill

The tourism industry along Alabama's Gulf Coast has rebounded remarkably from the April 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, but the same can’t be said for other Gulf-related industries in Mobile and Baldwin counties, especially the seafood processing sector.
